Session 1: Advances in Food Safety
This session will spotlight SBIR-backed innovations focused on food safety, featuring two companies developing tools and systems to reduce contamination risks, streamline monitoring, and improve supply chain resilience.
This session will focus on three SBIR-backed companies with emerging solutions in robotics, control systems, and smart factory tools. Presentations will be followed by a live Q&A and optional breakout rooms for direct engagement.
Smart Port Challenge (SPC) is an annual innovation challenge organized by PIER71 to attract startups with breakthrough technology-driven solutions to step forward and address key challenges faced by the maritime industry. Over the course of 10-weeks, the startups will delve into a world of opportunities to refine their products and solutions, broaden their horizons and establish significant relationships within the maritime industry.
Join the USDA Southwest Regional Food Business Center on July 16th from 3-4PM PT for their quarterly webinar series to learn how Food Hubs can fulfill market gaps for small and mid-sized farmers and farm producers. This webinar series is free and open for all to attend.
Hosted by Larta Institute and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), this virtual event marks the culmination of the NOAA SBIR Phase II TABA Program, spotlighting innovative technologies advancing solutions in environmental modeling, coastal and community resilience, hazard detection and extreme events, and ocean observation and data innovation.
