    Lance Adler, CEO of Witching Hour, was one of 27 selected innovators and entrepreneurs to join the latest cohorts in the Department of Energy's Lab-Embedded Entrepreneurship Program (LEEP). (LEEP).

     

    Witching Hour is on a mission to prevent wildfires before they spark. By retrofitting power lines with an advanced robotic insulation system, they reduce the risk of electrical fires caused by overhead wires and nearby vegetation. Their innovative, in-place solution is significantly faster and more affordable than traditional methods — helping power companies protect communities without digging up roads or breaking the bank.

    A4i partners with Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care

     

    A4i supports individuals with complex behavioral and mental health conditions. A4i secured a Mental Health center to enhance A4i's footprint across health systems to support digital innovation in severe mental illness. With the focus of psychosis, schizophernia and Opiod use disorder, the company is scaling its Health at Home initiative to serve rural and underserved communities across Canada.

    Airloom Energy Takes Critical Step for the Future of U.S. Energy Independence, Resilience and Security with New Pilot Site

     

    Airloom Energy’s mission is to create a low-cost, utility-scale, resilient energy generation technology that’s simple to manufacture and transport, which can be installed anywhere. By 2027, the company is set to complete its pilot site build. Its design is to validate its power curve, ensure production efficiency, refine the cost of deployment, and expand maintenance documentation.
